Chelsie Coffman, PA-C, provides primary care at the Cedar Clinic, part of Juneau Bone & Joint Center.
Chelsie brings a decade of experience living and working across Southeast Alaska, with a career rooted in rural and remote medicine. She has cared for patients in communities without road access, often hundreds of miles from the nearest hospital or healthcare facility. That experience has given Chelsea a broad approach to primary care. She helps patients manage chronic conditions, address urgent concerns, and navigate unexpected medical needs. At the heart of her practice is a belief that patients should be active participants in their own healthcare.
Chelsie is passionate about shared decision – making and helping people better understand their options so they can make informed choices that fit their lives. She has a particular interest in women’s health, including reproductive health and contraceptive care. After working throughout Alaska, Chelsie chose to make Juneau home for many of the same reasons we love it here: the mountains, the small-town community, and the endless opportunities to get outside and get involved.
On a beautiful summer day, there is a good chance you’ll find her hiking or paddle boarding with her dog, Captain. We’re so happy to welcome Chelsie to the Juneau Bone & Joint Center team and to expand access to primary care for our community.
