Lady Slagle, DPT

Physical Therapist

Lady earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. She has gained experience in outpatient physical therapy in both the Philippines and Guam, and has extensive experience in home health physical therapy while practicing in Guam.

Her clinical interests include geriatric rehabilitation and orthopedics, making sure that her patients get back to doing what they love and helping them get back on their feet. She has plans to further her education and get a specialist certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy in the near future. Outside the clinic, she enjoys different hobbies like cooking, hiking, and going on road trips with her husband. A little fun fact- she is half Filipino and half Chinese and knows how to speak Tagalog and a bit of Mandarin!

Glenn Wuyts MScPT

Physical Therapist

Glenn traveled halfway around to world to make Juneau his home. Glenn graduated in 2008 from the University of Antwerp and has lived and worked as a physical therapist in Belgium, Switzerland, Iceland, Fairbanks and most recently joined the Juneau Bone and Joint team as the lead physical therapist. He likes to incorporate manual therapy techniques, trigger point dry-needling and functional movement training in his treatments. In his spare time Glenn likes to stay active by playing tennis, downhill skiing and CrossFit training. He also loves to travel, trying out all kinds of food and spending time with friends, family and his dog Woodrow.

John Nagel LMT

Massage Therapist

John began his career as a Massage Therapist in August of 2000. He joined the JBJC Rehab team in January of 2010. John uses a combination of Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, negative pressure, sports and polarity techniques as part of his Massage Therapy Treatments. Born in Fairbanks, but raised in Juneau, after some time away his love for Juneau brought him back in late 2009. John has extensive outdoor and athletic experience including swimming, running, triathlons, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. He enjoys coaching and helping athletes in swimming, cross country and track.

Wannarat Giron LMT

Massage Therapist

Wannarat received her massage training in California before moving to Alaska in 2011. She has trained in a variety of modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport, Shiatsu, and Polarity massage techniques. Wannarat worked in the massage field for 10 years before joining JBJC Rehab in 2021. She advocates that massage “does the body good”. She enjoys the arts and outdoor activities. You can find her on the bunny hill executing some expert turns! Wannarat has an infectious smile and loves spending time with friends and family.

Stephanie Kohlhase, OTR/l, CHT

Occupational Therapist

Stephanie has been working as an Occupational Therapist for 27 years and a Certified Hand Therapist for 22 years. This is a unique specialty in our region. She moved to Juneau in 2005 with her young family and now has her first grandson. In her free time, she enjoys gardening in the summer, crafting in the winter, and has a true joy for singing. She hopes to continue serving people with hand conditions and injuries so that they can return to the activities they love.

Alexis Andes

Rehab Staff

Alexis graduated from Thunder Mountain High School in 2017. She later attended UNLV and Fort Lewis College, studying biochemistry. Upon her return to Juneau she worked for two years as a dental assistant in Juneau and outlying Southeast communities. Alexis joined the JBJC rehab team in 2022 and plans to further her knowledge in the healthcare field. Outside of work you will find Alexis exploring Juneau with her fiancé and two Labrador Retriever’s.

Paige Dobbs

Physical Therapist

Paige earned her B.S in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University in 2019, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in 2022. Paige started her career in her home state of Michigan, and has since accepted a permanent position at JBJC after enjoying her time working here on a travel contract. Paige enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, coming up with individualized treatment plans to meet their goals. She has a special interest in pelvic floor physical therapy, a branch of therapy that focuses on treatment to help restore function to the muscles of the pelvic floor. This type of therapy can help individuals with pelvic floor disorders like urinary incontinence, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual pain, pelvic pain and others.

Fun Fact: She won 2nd place in the Island Pub pizza contest! Try her pizza, the “Balsamic Baby”!

Jacob Karski

Physical Therapist

Jake earned his B.S in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2018, followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in 2022. After starting his career in Michigan, he hit the road and landed in Juneau, Alaska. Jake enjoys building relationships with his patients and making therapy an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved. Jake enjoys working with a wide array of orthopedic conditions and has experience working with individuals of all ages and activity levels.

When he is not at work, you have a high chance of running into him on one of Juneau’s many trails. Back home, he enjoyed waterfowl hunting and shooting in a competitive skeet league. When not outside, he enjoys watching new movies and spending time with his family.

Josh Lewis

Physical Therapist

Josh a local Juneau kid born and raised, he served honorably in the US military as a US Navy SWCC, and is honored to be working at Juneau Bone and Joint as a physical therapist by serving the community that he grew up in. Josh is passionate about solution finding and working towards goals. He brings personal experience, manual therapy, and dry needling into his treatments in order to impact and change his patient’s outcomes. Josh looks forward to working with fellow Southeast Alaskans as we learn and grow together.

Daniel Witkowski DPT

Physical Therapist

Dan earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from University of Maryland College Park in 2010 and then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2014. He started his career in outpatient orthopedics and managed the concussion and dizziness/vertigo caseload at a busy 11 clinician location. With a sense for adventure Dan started traveling in 2016 and has practiced in many states, including Hawaii and Alaska; as well as various settings from the Emergency Room to Hospital Acute Care to Short term rehab. Dan’s true passion however lies in the Outpatient clinic with a hands-on approach. When not in the clinic you will probably find Dan with his wife Stephanie, hiking, fishing, or at a local brewery waiting in line at the food truck.

Stephanie A Bann, PT, DPT, OCS, CNPT

Physical Therapist

Stephanie is originally from Pennsylvania who found a home with Juneau Bone and Joint in January 2022. She has 10 + years of experience with simple and complex orthopedic patients of all diagnoses and has her advanced board certification in orthopedics (OCS). Her experience is not limited to orthopedics, she also treats jaw disorders (TMJ/D) and pelvic health to which she is actively attending advanced training to become certified in treatment in all pelvic health conditions. She has experience and can treat irritable bladder, urine incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and conditions pertaining to pregnancy and postpartum conditions. Kamy Hamrick

Rehab Staff

Kamy was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska. She was a captain of the Track and Field team and participated in musical theater at Juneau Douglas HS. After graduating in 2018 she moved Washington state where she was caretaker for her grandmother and worked at a Nike retail store. Kamy missed the untamed Alaskan wilderness, including monumental mountains and open marshlands. Kamy joined the JBJC rehab team in 2022 and plans to expand her knowledge in general healthcare and physical therapy.
